Do I need to install anything?
No. Clipwright runs entirely in your browser. Editing, playback, and export happen locally — there's nothing to download.
Can I switch from Pro to Studio (or back)?
Yes — cancel your current plan from the Billing Portal (accessible from your account menu), then subscribe to the new plan. Direct in-place plan switching is on our roadmap; for now this two-step path takes under a minute and you keep your projects throughout.
What happens to my footage during AI processing?
Only the specific clip needed for that AI feature (subtitles, scene detection, etc.) is sent to our server, which proxies it to the AI model and deletes it immediately after processing. Nothing is stored server-side, and playback/export never leave your browser.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Every new account starts with a 7-day Pro trial automatically — no credit card required. You can upgrade, downgrade to Free, or add a payment method at any point.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
You can cancel anytime from the Billing Portal — you'll keep access through the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
